Web Design
Client: Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Leveraging my role as Design Manager for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation's website redesign (mcsf.org), I provided strategic guidance and detailed UI templates that set the visual and functional direction for the project. Collaborating closely with an external marketing firm throughout development, I ensured that the resulting design aligned seamlessly with the Foundation’s existing brand standards, originally established through my earlier work on its print collateral. The final site was constructed using a customized WordPress CMS, allowing for tailored functionality and optimal ease-of-use for site administrators.
A primary objective of the redesign, driven by the Foundation’s reliance on donations, was to maintain responsiveness across all devices and screen sizes. Special emphasis was placed on the prominent placement and persistent visibility of the “Donate” button, ensuring it remained highly accessible and distinct within the site's navigation. This careful attention to responsive design and usability guaranteed a consistent user experience, effectively facilitating the organization's mission-driven donor engagement goals.
